Asia-Pacific today accounts for nearly 60% of the world’s population and more than 50% of global food consumption. With growing populations and rising incomes, the new generation of Asians who are foodsafety-conscious are now demanding quality, hygienic food and beverages, thereby creating a one-trillion-dollar opportunity for F&B producers and manufacturers.

Leveraging Retail Asia’s 20-year publishing history, experience and data base, Foodbiz Asia will be officially launched as a digital magazine in July 2014 as well as establishing an online fraternity — for professionals and practitioners in the foodservice, retail service and hospitality & leisure industries in the region to share ideas, insights and innovations.

The April 2014 issue of Foodbiz Asia is just a pilot edition launched at Food & Hotel Asia exposition held in Singapore from 8-11 April 2014. As the professionals we surveyed indicated that they want the new B2B foodbiz magazine to follow them everywhere on their connected mobile devices, we have decided to go fully digital.

Bridging the Gap
Foodbiz Asia is conceived and will be launched as a digital magazine and an online community for segments of the food trade fraternity. It is aimed as an industry platform for senior executives, buyers and suppliers in the Food and Retail Service as well as the Hospitality & Leisure Industry.

Foodbiz Asia features food products and services from every sector of the global food industry. It allows the world’s food suppliers/distributors to reach and connect with Asia’s food, retail and hospitality establishments.
